Eminem is one the most well known names in the rap community. He has made a career of rapping and is still producing videos today. Rap God is by far , one of his most popular songs and he has made a big amount of profit from it.This video particularly, sticks out as it is highly edited. There is no narrative, but it represents Eminem as a very urban individual as it has clips of him in a club of some sort, rapping in front of a audience almost as if he is having a rap battle. An iconic scene is at 4.26 where Eminem raps extremely quickly to a point which caused controversy about the verse being fake.

Adele is known to have a performance element in her videos. In this video she is seen singing in various locations. There is also a narrative element in this video which is something along the lines of here losing a friend of hers but isn't clearly visible through the video. An iconic scene in this video is at 5.00 , this scene is her final verse of the song and it is when she projects her voice loudly which is extremely effective. This song is very appealing to the audience, now having over 1 billion views on YouTube. This song would be aimed to more females and younger people.

Childish Gambino is an African American rapper who produces low budget videos. He has gained a big following over the year with his most popular song '3005' having over 61 million views on YouTube.

In this song he visits a restaurant and sees a young lady who looks fairly attractive. He then approaches her trying to grab her attention, but she doesn't look like she's too interested. He then manages to pick her after trying many of his techniques to grab her attention. This video would be more appealing to younger people as it consists of love and hate which they may be able to relate to. An Iconic scene is at 2.53 where

he spins on a table about to fall but then steps off and approaches the women, this was a medium shot and was extremely effective.

G-eazy is an upcoming American rapper, 'I mean it', being his most popular song.He is well known for his songs being edited and having some sort of narrative, The use of Mise-En-Scene is this song is effective as he is playing the role of news reporter and his rapping to people watching at home. The Mise-En-Scene is the typical things a news reporter would be holding such as pieces of paper and a mug. He is also in a formal outfit which is complete contrast to the style of this song.A key scene in this song is at 1.05, this is where G-eazy can be seen in a TV screen, this is effective as it showing that he is reporting news.

This is Alt-J's most popular song, mainly because of the fact the whole video is played in reverse. The genre of this music video and Alt-j as a whole is Indie Pop, however this song shows that it caught the attention of more that just indie pop fans as it has more views than his other videos.This may be because Alt-J has attracted a wider audience because of the video rather than the song. A key scene in this video is at 2.23 where the video is played backwards and the girls is seen grabbing a knife and threatening to kill the male.

Much like Alt-J Breezeblocks, this video is played in reserve and contains a strong narrative. The concept
however is very well thought out as the lead singer had to lip-sync the lyrics backwards so that when it 
was played in reverse, it would like like he was saying them normally.This video would be appealing to the
audience as they have to watch the whole video to find out .A key scene from this song is at 2.20 where 
the singer can be seen in a dominant position leaning on a tree while the leaves lift up of the floor. This
will intrigue the audience as coldplay could be scene as 'attractive'.

This song has various visual efects with a orange light continuously being shined in Post's face.A key scene is at 0.3 seconds where the viewers are being introduced to Post's figure as an orange light shines across his face.This represents Post as a very dominant figure, it also shows him as rich and wealthy because of his outfit and jewelry he is wearing.

This song is very controversial as the audience have mixed opinions about the song, although some of the audience not liking this song, it is still Shawn Mendes' most successful song getting over 400 million views on YouTube.This song alongside Shawn Mendes singing, also contains a narrative. A key scene is at 2.53 where Mendes can be seen on the floor, beaten and bruised but still looking to the camera and singing.This will be appealing to the audience as Shawn may look appealing in this position.

Pillowtalk is Zayn's most popular song by far having almost 400 million views on Youtube. However some of the viewers did not like the song as it also has 350000 dislikes. This song has various visual effects throughout and his highly edited. A key scene from this song is at 1.15 where Zayn's face can be scene with a motion blur on it then it transitions into a females face having the same effect on it.This scene is powerful as the transition is clean and it could show a relationship between the 2 people , this may be appealing to the audience they may like seeing the to protagonists together.

This song is one of Kanye's most viewed videos as it has over 189 million views on YouTube however it was released in 2009 so it also is one of his older songs. This song is highly edited and features various futuristic songs. A key scene is 0.25 where Kanye can be seen in a futuristic like machine.
